AIA North Carolina Roadshow

When: 8/17/2023 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM AIA North Carolina Executive Vice President, David Crawford, Hon. AIA will update members on issues happening across the state. He will include legislative and regulatory updates from the AIA North Caroline Legislative Agenda, as well as overall state issues we can expect to see in 2023 & 2024. John Paquin, AIA, 2022 AIA North Carolina President will be on hand to discuss our chapter and what changes, plans and events are in store for the coming year.

Learning Objective 1:
Participants will hear what the 2023 AIA NC Legislative Agenda will be and will also hear about plans for Legislative Day to be held in Raleigh and what strategies AIA NC will use to get our message to elected officials.

Learning Objective 2:
Participants will be briefed on the 2023 economic outlook and what it means for the design and building industry in North Carolina and across the region and nation.

Learning Objective 3:
Participants will hear from AIA NC Executive Vice President about legislative and regulatory updates from 2023 and what specific issues are of importance for the architecture and construction industry.

Learning Objective 4:
Participants will hear from the 2023 AIA NC President who will discuss the goals of the state chapter, especially goals concerning climate action, inclusivity and diversity programs being implemented in the state.
