Architecture In the Classroom
April 15
Architecture in the Classroom inspires the next generation of designers and problem-solvers! Volunteers work with local classrooms to introduce students to architecture, design thinking, and the built environment in fun and engaging ways. High school students from 8 schools came together at UNC Charlotte to showcase their work. We would love to have local practicing architects to listen to the students presentations and provide feedback.

Girl Scouts Event
April 25
We introduced Girl Scouts of all levels to the exciting world of architecture and design! At Imagine, Design, Draw, Build, volunteers will help guide girls through various interactive booths, allowing them to explore the fundamental concepts of designing and constructing in the architectural field. From sketching designs to constructing models, this event inspired the next generation of architects, designers, and builders.
AIA Golf Tournament
April 30
This year's tournament was held at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation on April 30, 2026. AIA Charlotte's 2026 Golf Tournament featured a variety of sponsorship levels. Our annual golf event & fundraiser has become "a must" event for any professional in the A/E/C industry. The day will begins with a morning warm up at check-in, followed by lunch, golf and contests. Throughout the day you will be networking with fellow event supporters which will be scattered throughout the course and greeted with, of course, our famous beverage carts!
