A survey of AEC technology trends impacting planning focusing on emerging uses of  Digital Twins and Augmented Reality. Virtual 3D Models such as Augmented Reality (AR) models of buildings and digital twin models of cities are an emerging tool for architects to use every day to improve the design of their projects and their performance as a firm. Dave and his colleagues present some of the new advances in Virtual 3D Models. Topics covered will be the differences between Virtual Reality (VR) and AR, new computer hardware, new computer software, recently completed projects using Virtual 3D  Models, integrating Virtual 3D Models into project workflow throughout design and construction
