The Opportunity:

 We are seeking a dedicated, passionate team member with strong design and visualization skills on the path to licensure for immediate opportunities as an Architectural Designer I. This position requires support to project team leaders and production of presentations for projects in our Education and Senior Living studios.


Primary Responsibilities: 
Reporting to the Project Manager responsible for the individual project, the Architectural Designer I will be responsible for assisting in Master Planning, Site Planning and Building Design exercises utilizing 3D Modeling and Digital Presentation Packaging.
Assist with preparation of program and schematic designs, project layouts and develop designs in 3D using Revit and other 3D modeling software for client review/approval.
Assist with performance of design computations, specification research, compile data, and other supporting technical project information.
Assist with preparation of construction drawings and construction detailing.
Review building codes to assure designs comply with codes.
Participate in the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and other submittals, responding to RFI’s and preparing field reports
Prepare finish material sample boards, physical models, and graphic presentations for client approval. 
Assist the design team on projects from the Pre-Schematic Phase through Construction Documents.
Develops, checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project.

Required Qualifications:

Accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
On the path toward licensure
LEED Accreditation or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant architecture experience; preferably in Education or Senior Living
Ability to collaborate, develop, communicate, and present design concepts to internal and external teams.
Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, 3D Max and other related design software is preferred. 
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Possess strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
