Interview Prep is an event that provides students with the opportunity to learn essential interviewing techniques, receive direct feedback, and gain insights into what firms and professionals look for in an applicant. This event will specifically focus on enhancing verbal interview skills, with practical exercises designed to build confidence and ease any nerves associated with the interview process. Resumes and portfolios will not be used during this event.
Professionals will also have the chance to refine their own interviewing techniques, engage with students to learn about their involvement and goals, and enjoy an early, informal interview opportunity prior to the School of Architecture's CareerEXPO.
This event will take place at Storrs Hall, and food will be provided. It's a great opportunity to navigate one of the most important parts of a young professional's career--making that crucial first impression.
