Snøhetta Lecture on the new Uptown Charlotte Mecklenburg Library - this event is full!

Chad Carpenter will present Snøhetta's design for the New Main Library in Charlotte in the context of the firm's 35-year history of designing libraries as civic beacons that embody community aspirations. Through examining transformative library projects, the lecture will explore how thoughtful design creates both intimate personal experiences and powerful collective meaning in places where diverse communities gather to learn, create, and connect.
