The Rowe is a new mixed-use multifamily building under construction as part of the larger Commonwealth development by Crosland Southeast. Axiom Architecture is excited to be a part of this project which will bring 383 new apartments and over 36,000 square feet of retail space to the Plaza-Midwood
neighborhood. Residents will enjoy many amenities, including outdoor options such as an elevated pool terrace, private gaming courtyard, and rooftop terrace with skyline views. Join us for a hard-hat tour of the building, which is scheduled to complete construction next summer.
Project Description Commercial: Office, Vintage 1/2, Existing Retail BB+M
Commonwealth is a revitalization of the existing Central Square Shopping Center. In addition to the adjacent Rowe multifamily apartment building Phase 1 of this project consists of 4 buildings. A renovation of the existing shopping center along Central Avenue. A new 7 story office building over basement parking that will bring 150,000 RSF of Class A office space. Lastly the heart of the development will be the renovation of the two nearly 120 year old Cole Manufacturing Buildings. Vintage 1 is 6,000 RSF of shell retail space and Vintage 2 will be roughly 10,000 RSF.
This is an active construction site. You must wear closed toe shoes and bring a hard hat and safety glasses.
