AIA Charlotte is hosting one of our most popular competitions, CANstruction! This initiative has helped raise awareness and support for our local Second Harvest Food Bank by donating all cans/structures after the event. Team registration is closed. 

Teams are judged on the following categories:
Best Use of Labels
Structural Ingenuity
Best Meal
Most Cans
Best Original Design
Juror's Favorite
People's Choice

Structures can be viewed October 1st at Lenny Boy Brewing Co. in Charlotte. Come out to support the builders, grab a drink and vote for your favorite structure! This year we will also have our Scale Up kit out for kids of all ages to build their own creations out of PVC piping.
Doors open at 11am with building starting at noon. Voting will start at 1:00pm
