Isaac Julien: Lina Bo Bardi - A Marvellous Entanglement, the Bechtler presents a screening of Julien's early breakthrough film
Looking for Langston. This film is a poetic exploration for the private life of writer and activist Langston Hughes, a leading figure of the Harlem Renaissance. Julien's film has become a hallmark of New Queer Cinema, and has been widely shown, as well as taught in film curricula, around the world.
