Imagine, Design, Draw, Build with the Girl Scouts

Join us for a hands-on, creative day as we introduce Girl Scouts of all levels to the exciting world of architecture and design! At Imagine, Design, Draw, Build, volunteers will help guide girls through various interactive booths, allowing them to explore the fundamental concepts of designing and constructing in the architectural field. From sketching designs to constructing models, this event will inspire the next generation of architects, designers, and builders.       
              
Volunteer Shifts:          
     Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - noon (Working with Brownies and Juniors)        
     Afternoon Shift: noon - 4 p.m. (Working with Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors) 
              
Each shift will need approximately 10 to 15 volunteers to assist in facilitating engaging, hands-on learning activities at each booth. Volunteers will help guide the girls in activities such as drawing, constructing scale models, and exploring the creative process behind architectural design.
              
What to Expect:            
     - Lead or assist with various booths focused on design, drawing, and building    
     - Foster a fun, educational, and inspiring environment for Girl Scouts    
     - Work with girls of different levels, offering guidance and support throughout their activities

Please register to volunteer. We will meet with volunteers virtually prior to the event to get everyone looped in on the structure of the day.
