We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Designer to join our vibrant team that values camaraderie, a community-focused mindset, and solid design process. Working with C DESIGN provides a unique, diverse learning experience in a range of project types including Aviation, Civic, Education, Recreation, Operations and Workplace.

Qualifications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive work history of 15+ years of experience in a professional design practice
- Hold professional license
- Naturally curious and passionately devoted to design excellence and innovation
- Driven to research new ideas and committed to creative problem-solving at multiple scales
- Advanced experience with rendering and graphics software such as Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
- Strong presentation skills to effectively deliver design ideas and concepts.
- Technical production skills demonstrating the ability to effectively produce design & construction documents
- Possess organizational skills to prioritize individual and team tasks while handling multiple deadlines
- Ability to effectively work independently and with a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a cooperative approach
- Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, leadership, clients and consultants
- Understanding of relevant building codes
- Passionate about design, detail-oriented and devoted to client satisfaction

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead design team and clients in all phases of the design process such as programming, site analysis, and conceptual planning
- Guide design process and prepare presentations including diagrams, visualizations, animations, renderings, and other related designmaterials through digital media, hand sketches, and physical models
- Help lead firm marketing efforts including project interviews and business development activities
- Select and specify materials and finishes
- Perform high level research related to zoning, building code and other requirements
- Review design documents for design conformance
- Assist in development of Construction Documents
- Perform construction phase tasks including site visits, RFI responses and submittal review
- Assist with consultant, vendor and business relationships
