Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Professional Degree (BArch or MArch) plus 6-10 years professional experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu required
- Working Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong experience in multi-family projects – from townhomes to urban mixed-use.
- Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
- Lead the design and/or serve as the project manager for projects of various size and complexities.
- Perform design and technical layouts with a self-directed ability to research, compile and record information for assigned projects.
- Lead and be responsible for various technical aspects of the design process (drawings, documents, specifications, etc.) of a project, beginning with schematic design and continuing through construction administration and closeout.
- Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of various sized projects.
- Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.
- Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
- Ability to lead a team while mentoring others by effectively sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
- Lead communication efforts between internal team and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants and contractors.
- Possess a genuine passion for producing high-quality projects with an appreciation for thoughtful design and technical excellence. Demonstrate a commitment to detail, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring that craft solutions are always delivered.
