The Higher Education Studio Principal will lead a team of peoplewithin our Charlotte, NC office who specialize in the design and constructionof higher education projects.  You willhave the opportunity to mentor and build a team of individuals dedicated tocommunity projects, while collaborating daily with your team and leaders withinthe office and across the firm. You will have access to a wide-range ofresources as you partner on a regular basis with Community and Corporateleaders from across the firm.

Our ideal candidate possesses a keen understanding and experience inpursuing and executing high level design opportunities with public and privatesector Higher Education clients across the region. In addition to a primaryfocus on University and Community College clients, the candidate shoulddemonstrate thought leadership across all educational immersive learning environments,including pre K-12 schools, as well as familiarity with civic (municipalities)and non-profit entities.

Ultimately our goal is thecontinued enhancement of Little’s reputation, expertise, and design portfolioacross our national footprint. By listening to our client’s unique goals andcreating a unified vision we will build sustainable relationships with core clientswith whom our goals are aligned. Our current portfolio includes extensiveexperience in a multitude of classroom spaces, medical education & healthsciences, sports & recreation, student centers, and student housing.Familiarity with developers, 3P, and the construction community is important tothe success of this role.

Requirements for this role:

·       A minimum 10 years of experience in the designprofession.

·       Experience with clients and projects within bothNorth Carolina and South Carolina.
