Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Full-time Architectural Permit Expeditor with a positive, collaborative work style for our Service Retail Studio in our Charlotte, NC office.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be an energetic person who enjoys engaging with team members, clients and municipalities.  This person needs to have the ability to engage on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as required.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Investigate Permit processes and procedures for municipalities throughout the Unites States.
  • Prepare list of all application needs for permit approval, zoning approvals, planning board approvals, etc.
  • Submit plans to municipalities
  • Provide projected submittal and permit fees to the client
  • Notify team of plan review comments required by the municipality
  • Travel to permit locations when hand delivery is required

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in architecture or construction.
  • Great attention to detail and service to clients;
  • Strong organization, and verbal and written communication skills are a must; and
  • Strong commitment to elevating project performance
